As an AAUW member, you’ll be proud to belong to this nationwide group of people who value education and equal rights … who are contributing to a more promising future for all women and girls … and who together provide a powerful voice for women and girls—a voice that cannot and will not be ignored. As an AAUW member you will have:

A voice in government. AAUW’s 100,000-member voice is key on critical women’s and civil rights issues—lobbying, briefing policy-makers, and spearheading coalitions.
A powerful network. You will belong to a community of people who value education and equal rights and who believe in taking action.
A friendly, active group. Membership offers friendship with like-minded people and an arena for making a positive contribution in your community.

Membership is open to women and men who hold an associate or equivalent, or baccalaureate or advanced degrees from accredited universities or colleges. A significant part of your national dues is tax deductible. New members may be eligible for discounts, so please contact the Membership Chair listed below.
